Grants and Scholarships

The FHA works to advance inclusion and equity across our movement for all humanists. This year, we are facilitating two grant programs to increase access to and engagement with the American Humanist Association’s 78th Annual Conference.

Conference scholarship

In an effort to increase access to the American Humanist Association’s annual conference, the FHA is sponsoring travel scholarships to people from traditionally marginalized groups. Scholarship applications will be accepted until April 22, 2019 or until funds are exhausted .

Conference watch party grants

Because not everyone is able to attend the annual American Humanist Association conference in person, the FHA is offering grants to individuals and local AHA chapters to help facilitate watch parties of the webcasted conference. Grants are $100 to $300 each and may be spent on venue, refreshments, advertising, and other expenses related to conference watch parties. Applications will be accepted until April 22, 2019 or until funds are exhausted.
